Where it all begins — the whole group together for the first time. A seafront rice-and-seafood specialist right on the Passeig, under the olive trees and bougainvillea, tram rattling past. The perfect place to raise the first glass.

Cala Deià
The heart of the whole trip. We start with a drive over the mountains to Cala Deià — one of Laura's all-time favourite corners of the island — and a long, unhurried lunch at the famous little restaurant perched right on the rocks above the cove. Then we come home the beautiful way: a boat back toward Port de Sóller, drifting slowly along the coast with stops to swim and sip in the sun.

Getting there

A taxi up and over to Cala Deià, mid-morning.

A gentler, more considered night. Grace Berrow's kitchen changes with the day — no fixed menu, just whatever's freshest — so we'll shape this one a little closer to the time. Somewhere special to slow down and soak the weekend in.

€180 per person

Collected in cash on Friday. It covers all the shared meals and the bits around them — so we don't think about money once we're there. Anything left over comes back to everyone; if we run a little short, we might top up for the last night.
